Invoicing Supervisor

Role Profile
The Billing Supervisor is responsible for the effective supervision of all billing activities within the Sea Freight Business Unit. The role ensures accurate and timely invoicing, proper reconciliation of inter department billing, and prompt closure of Work In Progress (WIP), while maintaining strong financial controls and supporting efficient cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end billing processes to ensure timely and accurate invoice generation.
- Ensure invoicing verification and accuracy
- Conduct periodic reconciliations between billing records and operations reports.
- Ensure timely closure of Work-In-Progress (WIP)
- Coordination across Sea freight BU team to collect required billing information and following up with missing or incomplete job files.
- Customer Support and Issue resolution – addressing billing queries from customers, investigating and resolving billing related queries.
- Reporting and documentation – maintain accurate billing records and documentation for internal and audit purpose.
- Generate regular billing performance reports.
- Compliance & Process Control – ensure billing activities comply with the company policies,
- SOPS, Financial controls, legal requirements and industry standards.
- Support, guide, supervise billing clerks.

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting ERP systems
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and handle tight deadlines
- High level of organization and attention to detail
Education & Experience
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- At least CPA Part 2
- 3 years’ experience in a busy billing or accounts receivable role in a clearing and forwarding environment.
