Mitchell Cotts Group has established itself as a leading logistics company for over nine decades. Our marine services portfolio includes port agent, cargo agent and charterers agent services.

Our cargo handling capabilities consist of three facilities, one situated within the Port of Mombasa and two strategically positioned just a brief distance away. The facilities located outside the port can be conveniently accessed via the main entry and exit gates numbered 1, 5, and 18. We operate around the clock to transport cargo from the port to these facilities.

We hold accreditation in AEO, ISO 9001:2015, HACCP, and GMP certification. Our international network partners include WCA, Conqueror Freight Network, Link Global Network, and MiPharma, and we are the sole representative of BDP International in the Eastern Africa region.

Port Agent Services

We cover every aspect of the port call, from reserving berth allocations and pre-booking services before the vessel arrives, to finalising accounts and paperwork after it has departed. Acting as a liaison between the vessel and shore, we ensure timely and efficient communication of information to our customers. We are well-versed in the safety, commercial, and statutory requirements and regulations applicable to the port, ensuring vessels comply fully to avoid any unnecessary delays.

Cargo/Liner Agent Services

We specialise in securing cargo for line or ship operators in break bulk trades. We provide detailed information on vessel schedules, competitive rates, and conditions of carriage, along with additional services such as Container Freight Station, Surface Transportation, Customs Clearance, Warehousing, and related offerings.

Charterers Agent Services

Our Charterers Agent Services are tailored to meet specific duties that vary on a case-by-case basis.

Ships Agency Services

We offer full agency services encompassing vessel planning, cargo operations, and port authority engagements, as well as Vessel Husbandry services covering crew matters, ship inspections, and supply and provisions. Additionally, we provide Cargo Agent Services, including Cargo Bailee Services.

Consolidation and Deconsolidation Services

We offer import cargo deconsolidation and Cargo Bailee Services, documentation and issuance of House Bills of lading, freight forwarding services, and export cargo consolidation.
